Robert will release his brand new single “Everything You Wanted” on May 17.

The self-written track, produced by Gareth Shortland (Sophie Ellis Bextor, Steps) is the third teaser from Robert's forthcoming album, following “Mysterious Times” and “Summer Is Waiting”.

Robert describes the song as being sonically “somewhere between Hall & Oates and Simple Minds”. 

Lyrically it's about hitting that sweet spot in life where you've got “the money, the fame, the body, the face, a lover's embrace”, as he sings in the chorus of the '80s-tinged synth-pop track.
