Severance Deluxe Edition

Robert is set to celebrate one year of his critically acclaimed ‘Severance’ EP with the release of a definitive deluxe edition featuring 20 tracks.

‘Severance’ has been streamed over 100,000 times on Spotify since its release, and produced five Top 3 hits on the LGBT Music Chart.

Retro Pop said ‘Severance’ “showcased Robert's superb songwriting and saw him finally find his sound”, while RGM hailed the EP “a sonic masterpiece”.

Due on October 13, the expanded release will include every remix from the era, by the likes of YouTube sensation Sakgra, Fletz, Skynem GT and Gareth Shortland, who puts a club spin on his original productions.

The set will also feature a brand new techno-inspired remix of the record’s biggest streaming hit “One Way Ticket”, which has passed 35,000 streams on Spotify and shows no signs of stopping there.

The record will be trailed on October 7 by a momentous megamix clocking in at over 8 minutes and highlighting the hits of ‘Severance’ in a DJ-style set. Pre-save the Severance Megamix now on Spotify.

Speaking about the project, Robert says: “These songs have a lot of life in them yet, the streaming numbers speak for themselves”, adding “the brilliance of making a record that’s purposely retro is that these songs don’t sound a day older than they did when they were first released – I’m not in the business of playing to trends!”
