Robert O’Connor Announces Clubwav Continuum, Out October 10
Robert is set to release his new album, Clubwav Continuum, on October 10. The project transforms his acclaimed 2025 album Swimming Against The Tide into a 1+ hour continuous DJ-style mix, reimagined with experimental flourishes and influences spanning ’80s synth-pop to ’90s dance and trance.
The lead single, “Once In A While”, drops September 19, featuring a brand-new Radio Edit, Extended Mix, Sakgra Version, Album Version, and all instrumentals, offering fans multiple ways to experience one of O’Connor’s standout tracks.
Following the album, the Individually Wrapped Edition will be released on October 17, providing ten separate extended mixes so listeners can explore each track individually or add them to playlists — a bonus complement to the continuous mix.
Clubwav Continuum features first-time collaborations between producers Gareth Shortland (Steps, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Will Young) and Jordan Arteaga (producer of O’Connor’s spin-off project Night Tides: The Chillout Collection), alongside contributions from fan-favorite Sakgra, Tee Webb, and platinum-selling songwriter Gordon Pogoda.
At the heart of the project as singer, songwriter, and producer, Robert O’Connor pushes the boundaries of electronic-pop, crafting immersive, cinematic soundscapes designed to move, inspire, and captivate listeners.
