Robert's brand new single "Been & Gone" has premiered exclusively on UK music site Culture Fix.
The publication said of the track: "Been & Gone is a single that immediately spoke to us thanks to its emotional themes, Robert’s conviction-packed vocals and sharp, dancefloor centred production".
"Been & Gone" was produced by Gareth Shortland (Steps, Will Young), with vocal production by Richey McCourt (Aimée, Rebecca Ferguson).
Commenting on working with McCourt for the first time, Robert said: “Richey really embraced the song and made little suggestions as we recorded, which I think made it even catchier – I joked to him that he’s a bit of a Max Martin character, he has a real pop sensibility about him.”
